October, 2023 – Environment, agriculture, forestry, natural resources, and the effects of climate change on economics are the main areas of YMS software expertise. We increase the value of work in these industries with technology. We emphasize expertise, intuitiveness, and constant innovation.
October, 2023 – In 2022 we received the award Innovative Act of the Year with the space translator ySpace from the Minister of Economy. We are now running for the IT community award for international trade dispatching for Eustream, which has made us one of the top digital partners in the gas trade in Europe.
September, 2023 – We are preparing the 22nd annual YMS professional and social conference, GeoSpatial Visions 2023, for the end of September. Electronic services, digitization and innovations from research projects in various sectors of the economy will once again be a hot topic in the heated-up pre-election period.
August, 2023 – The Railways of the Slovak Republic are involved in the pan-European initiative to increase the competitiveness of rail transport (TTR). YMS is concluding a feasibility study that will thoroughly evaluate the benefits and requirements of the project for Slovakia.
August, 2023 – Municipalities can now digitally manage buildings, properties, and road networks of II. and III class, with the new package of services from YMS. By combining proven know-how we have prepared a system that will help in the two most extensive and technically demanding areas of self-governance.
July, 2023 – The fourth annual SARIO conference to support the European space industry took place in Bratislava on May 30. YMS, as a creator of geospatial and technical systems, on the IT market for more than 30 years, was represented by Radovan Hilbert, an expert in satellite technology and director of business development of YMS.
June, 2023 – They reveal calamities in forest stands and monitor how quickly it develops until rangers intervene. They identify places prone to the formation of ravines early, whether in forest undergrowth or in the open. They calculate actual erosion in fields and find the least labor-intensive to reduce it.
May, 2023 – At the beginning of May the YMS team once again used an entire workday to take care of Slovak forests. During the company team building we planted approximately 2300 small beech trees on a slope in Zvolenská Slatina where a bark-beetle calamity destroyed the previous trees.
April, 2023 – YMS and the Banská Bystrica self-governing region (BBSR) have successfully achieved the first in three phases for implementing a complex system for managing property, which will also help evaluate the energy efficiency of regional buildings.
April, 2023 – The Central Control and Testing Institute for Agriculture in Bratislava (CCTIA) is working with the YMS team on a new information system, the Central Data Repository (IS CDR). The extensive and ambitious project will turn two sections of CCTIA professional activities completely digital.
